update on cutting out

just to update on the car randomly cutting out.its been in garage a week now and they think is lift pump or hp pump but still looking in to it as its loseing pressure but now cant get it to cut out again as had it running allday yesterday.replaced lift pump 3 weeks ago but got it from scrapy so might be that.gonna leave it with them no point trying to use it as it would cut out miles from home and my m8 fed up towing it prob done more miles on the rope than the engine.so annoying computers in cars.

God what a PITA
It is possible that your scrappy lift pump was iffy, maybe that's why it was scrapped!

i had the same problem but my car would start again if i left it for 5mins changed the relay next to the ecu and fingers crossed its not cut out
