Hi All
was wondering if someone can point me in the right direction.

i have a 1997 1.9td est 119k
the temperature rises to 110c in about 15 minutes, the fans run and kick in at 95/100c

i put the blowers on high and hot and the temperature goes back down to about 90c in about 5 minutes
apart from that the car runs ok.

any thoughts and ideas will be most welcome

many thanks in advance

Does the temp rise when your working the car hard or all the time?

Could be the fins in the rad is blocked due to dust and muck, if so a simply power wash of the rad both ways would cure it.

Or the rad's blocked with crud on the inside. Or could just be air locks. Best to flush it & refill pwopperley.

I'd have thought it sounds more like the thermostat's stuck closed...
