"STOP" warning light

engine was upto temp with fan on, when the fan kicked in the "STOP" warning light came on

1st time its ever been on in 2 years of owning the car :shock:

what could it be ?

Low water or oil level?

I've been getting the STOP light coming on recently, but mine's due to the oil level.

When mine did that I found one of the fans had packed up so I presume the air con was overheating or something - is the remaining fan pulsing on & off?

water is fine, oil may be tiny tiny bit over the top mark ,,

ye fan seems to be running as normal coming on only wen stationary just over 90,

i will have to check that 2moro,, see if there both working.

but saying that, oil is about right, my drive way is nose down, so wen i dip test it nose is down cos of the slight hill on drive,

changed oil last week and i put, 4.3 litres in
