bio fuel,

does anyone know if a 406 hdi 110 D9 will run on bio?
or will it kill the pump and eat the seals etc.

DONT DO IT :shock:

not the HDi's unless its 100% properly made bio, stay away its not worth the hastle

ok cheers mate,
there is a petrol station in cheetham hill that sells bio via pumps ipresume this wont be any good ?
iwasnt going to put any Ming yip chippy old stuff in it or the like iwas just trying to work out wether the old oil burner be ok with the pump stuff ,

iwill not try it now dont want to break it :oops:

It should be fine on well made bio, but not that many commersal places sell good bio,
poorly converted fuel and high soap content are a common problem with forcort bio, both will course an HDI problems.

and also some "bio" on forecourts is a blend so its as expensive as fossil diesel e.g. Morrisons 5% bio in fossil diesel (damn cheeky thieving buggers)
