has any one ever looked in to this on the d8 v6??
i had one on my s16 and it did make a noticable differance, at the same time as fitting it i made sure the face of the inlet and tb were the same size so as no step and the join of the inlet to the cylinder head was the same size.
its one of those mods that lots of people say doesnt work but on the other hand lots of people say it does, did the same thing to an su carb many years ago after reading tuning a series engines by andy vizard
he backes up his work with flow bench graphs and it does work
i have a spare one which im going to get done with the intention to fit over christmas.
at the same time i will be looking to port match the tb to the inlet and the inlet to the head and if possible fit a PTFE gasket in between the head and inlet, though im told there may not be enough clearnce for this when the bonnet is closed.
