EML on, and Cutting Out after Cambelt Change

On my 406 1.9 TD, I've just had the Cambelt, Waterpump and Glowplugs changed. Now the EML comes on, and when you lift off the accelerator the car cuts out. Fuel Filter seems fine, but will be changed, does the IP need adjusting after a cambelt change?

It shouldn't - is there any chance it could have moved relative to the cam / crank pulleys? Can you re-check the timing?
I know the later 1.9TD's have an ecu of sorts, knows the actual injection timing, (I think from a sensor on one of the injectors which might be your problem if it was disturbed). If the timing's wrong it will light the EML.

I believe the Injection Pump was moved/removed to fit the glowplugs behind it. Would that effect the timings of the pump?
It starts fine, drives ok til about 2.5k revs when EML comes on, when approaching a junction and you take foot of accelerator it cuts out.
Engine sounds good, so I think cambelt was done right.

Quite possibly!
What you need to do is retrace your steps, look at the pump bolts, there will be marks where the bolts had been tightened from new, check if the bolts are back in their original positions.
Did the engine start straight away after the timing belt was done? Was the tickover good after it was first started? A good check if the timing is correct after a cambelt change is that it should start and tickover perfectly first turn of the key.
If I were you I would go back and recheck all the timing, see if all the timing pins and bolts fit correctly. You won't have peace of mind until you do.
Logically, if all was well before the timing belt change and pump removal, then it must be down to what was done.

It was done by a local garage, everything looks fine. Car starts great and sounds it.
They have diagnosed a faulty sensor, waiting on a replacement which will be done by Mon.
Getting a service done aswell, as air filter was black and I dont know when last service was done.
