I'm trying to order a replacement cambelt kit but the supplier needs to know which Aircon unit I have, it should be either Sanden or Delphi I'm told. Can anyone tell me please which one this is? I can't make out any markings on it.
thanks
Millard

They usually go by the number of ribs on the pulley. Go to www.eurocarparts.com and put your reg no in there, it should come up with the right one.

Good question, never been asked about aircon before, unless they meant the fan belt, which would make more sense.

That's a very good point, the cambelt has nothing to do with the AC compressor! :?

My mistake, sorry. I'm getting a cambelt kit as well but I meant the aux belt

With the aux belt I would look at the belt itself, it should have writing on it such as 6PK1420 for example, this would make sure that you get the correct belt.

Yeah thanks Jasper, I realised that last night when I finished working on the motor as the light faded. I was clearing up and was hit by the obvious when I grabbed the old belt, there were the numbers staring me in the face
I've now ordered the (hopefully) correct belts and waterpump and should be able to start chucking it all back together in a coupla days .
cheers
