I have a 1998 1.8 406 and when i start it from cold i get a smell off petrol in the cabin also when standing outside after the car warms up a bit the smell disapears.I have checked all the pipes and cant find any trace of leakage or petrol stains anywhere,any ideas?.THANKS

sounds like a problem i had on my 1999 vectra sri, it turned out to be a airline crack in the manifold,, ,
