Well i've had the 2002 hdi 110 for 6 months now and it's been great at starting untill now,the cold weather has caught it out,i need to get a set of glow plugs as it seems only 1 is working. What is the best make to go for,i've been told BERU is a good make to fit to peugeots, anything i should look out for when changing them? Any info greatly apprecaited.

I agree with Gary.
I changed the glow plugs on my Expert 110 HDi the other day, I used Denso ones (Toyota original fit).Simple job, very easy.
Mine had Bosch ones from new.
Beru are French, but low down on the quality list.

I watched the mechanic change mine last month (yeah, ok

) and here's a tip: You know them telescopic magnets? Well, he had quite a good one and used it to fit the nuts on the top of the injectors. Ok, it won't tighten them all the way but it gets them started and it sure beats dropping the nuts down the front of the engine 18 times...

Good idea using magnets
I have fairly small hands so managed to fit the nuts without dropping them....I did drop 2 of the old ones though
Just one other thing, the first plug on the left needs the metal bracket that goes front to back removing to get at the glow plug.

I just had a look and i can see what you mean about the bracket and the l/h side,i was thinking about the magnet trick aswell cos with my great mits there will be bits dropping all over the place,i've been offered a reasonable deal on 4 BERU plugs so might go for them, was thinking of oem Peugeot ones but i expect they will be an arm and a leg.
