if its like my 2.1 td , 1997 mode its an un-bleedable system , it comes as a sealed all in one unit as i found out when the pipe broke during changing my clutch

sounds very much like my car. Normally goes into 1st and 2nd ok once the engine is warm. I changed the brake fluid (same res as clutch) which made it a bit better for a week or so.
