1424 5C. Thought so but, you know, a picture speaks blah blah blah. If it helps they're 33 quid-odd from the stealer's ( ouch :frown: ), tubby specific (including Xantia) and they still sell them.

well none of my local breakers have this part... typical looks like i might have to bite the bullet and use the 'dealer'

Why don't you bind it with duck tape? Doesn't look pretty but it's perfectly functional.
Mine split in the concertina section.

PSA Group's handy-dandy tech support site, Service Box:

http://public.servicebox.peugeot.com

You need to register, and just pretend you're a small business in the UK. They don't check, we don't tell.

It is partly free to use (i.e. the bit that gives all these handy diagrams and part numbers), but there's reams of more technical data in certain sections that they want you to pay for.

I'm a bit reluctant to post screen shots off of Service Box, that one's from the Coupe Parts Catalogue http://peugeot406coupe.nl/catalogus/ - someone's pruned a lot of non coupe parts off it and some of the part numbers are a bit out of date but the pics are ok.

managed to pick the pipe up this morning, it was a bit of a bitch to fit as im guessing it was fresh moudled rubber and it was a little smaller than the actual pipes it had to go onto, but its now on, gonna give it a spin when i take the missus to work this evening.

£33.75 was the total bill, he even said he gave me a discount of........ wait for this.......£3.61 (dont everyone jump all at once) rofl

heres some pics of the nice frature lol

by the looks of the pipe its never been changed so for 12 years old i think its done quite well :)

Yours split in the same place as mine! The duck tape is holding for now so I'll stick with that :cheesy:
