A broken lower mount is NOT an mot failure, but you may get an advisory.
It isn't a testable item.

yup iagree:
its not a fail but you do get an Advisory,
Mines been packed with windscreen sealant Altho the mot inspector says its a very neat & tidy bodge he carnt just leave it unmentioned and had to put it down as an Advisory,

iwouidnt worry about it unless there alot of Excess movement in the mount , :P

My car has been juddery in 1st gear for the last 90k miles not sure why whether its the mount or clutch but have stopped worrying about it, its a pity you cannot buy those 2 part polyurethene mounts that slide in either side like some of the other pugs theyre probably too hard though

ye i have a judder in 1st gear , on a new clutch 8 month later,

i put it down to a broken spring on the clutch but i think it could be a mount , may get them changed soon
