406 turbo misfire

hi, can anyone help me ?, i have a 406 2.0 turbo petrol, the boost is turned up but not alot but under hard exceleration it somtimes misfires,it also does this when you go to pull away somtimes and when you sit at a speed, but it will tick over fine and runs fine apart from this, any help would be great :roll:

does it still miss with the boost turned back down to normal ?

i did read somewhere that when you turn the boost up it can blow the spark out,?????? not sure how true this is.

hi no it is normal when plugs are worn and the gap is too large it will take more energy to cross the gap it also puts a very large strain on the coil or coils also the coils can break down internaly and produce a weak spark that may be ok on idle and steady driving but with boost it cant cope as it takes far more energy to cross the gap
