How difficult is it to change the actuator?
Just bought me a -31 actuator and fancy having a bash at fitting it.

Its not that easy mate... as you know the stock job has a long rod connecting itto the wastegate, all you can do is hope that you can either find a longer connecting rod or build a SPECIAL CONNECTING ROD the original rod is so long lol :D

YOu need to cut the original bracket off the stock actuator or manufacture your own, and even then you need a longer connecting rod... it's not as straight forward as you would think, thats why mine is still in the box :D

It has the rod extension to fit the 406 :cheesy:

Just need to know how to fit the bastard, it was taken from a highly modded 406 tub.

Aahhhh I see.... your lucky Mines off a cossie T3 I had in the shed... You have to manufacture a bracket or carefully cut your original one off the stock actuator..

Whats with this highly modded 406 tub then ? why isnt it on the site and why arent there any details about it??
