Hi all

Ok, Car started fine this morning and drove 20 odd miles without problem, came home parked up, then went out in it tonight to pop to the shop, she took longer to start than normal, then when fired ran a little lumpy and then the K light came on, the baffles have gone in the centre box as I can hear them rattling and the exhaust sounds like its blowing (but it isint) then all of a sudden a big puff of smoke came out of the exhaust then it ran ok and the light went out for a few minutes, only to come back on and off intermittanly for 10 mins or so, I then went into the shop, came out and started it back up again and it ran normal and did so for the remainder home

I'm thinking its something to do with the exhaust? maybe the baffles have collapsed and giving a duff O2 reading??

What do you reckon chaps

Easier to stuff it in your sig

It's always possible, especially if the baffles are so corroded they're blocking it

If you put the car details into your signature, it will pop up everytime.

There you go , job done

Did it again this morning, brief splutter and loss of power, k light on, I eased of the throttle, then accellerated again and the light went out and back to normal

Would low fuel cause the k light to come on? As ive got very very low fuel till tomorrow

We'll add it to the list of possibles you need to sort out first.

I certainly hope it's that, or at worst the exhaust

The old girl's got my pockets empty she's had neirly £400 off me in 3 weeks
