I took the injectors out of the breaker car.
The ends of them were not very clean infact quite dirty.
How can i clean them? is there any way i should store them as i want to keep a spare set.

dont clean them.
leave them as they are if u atempt to clean them u may block the nozzels with loose carbon thus leaving then knackerd or needing to be recond.

Jam jar is right mate,
just wrap them in cling film and put them in a box,
Theyre worth good money to the right person,
ive just sold a transit derv pump and a set of injectors and the buyer didnt haggle at a Grand,
Just get a price for injectors from the main stealers and you will know why people will pay good money for stuff like this ,

If you hunt around on ebay there are a few firms providing an injector cleaning service (they stick them in a bath of some sort of solvent, stir it with an ultrasonic "thingy" and power the injector tip to get any much out.
Be a bugger if you went to the trouble of changing the injectors to find that the ones you put in are in the same condition.

the injectors in this car potentially could have been its problem thats why i dont want to sell them.
On my car i put some of that injector cleaner in every so often.

The injector cleaner that you add to the tank is nothing like having them properly cleaned by machine.

When I thought I had a problem with injectors I rang a firm we use at work, Carwoods, they told me £28 IIRC to recon an injector, but they do a free test first to see if it needs doing. The £28 may have had a bit of a discount due to us pushing loads of work there way but I imagine it was only a couple of quid.

theres not much change out of 2 grand for em at the dealers,
injectors was over £450 each alone,
we bought them for a transit which turned out didnt need them so was just a loss,
