Cooling Fans

my cooling fans will not stop
engine is running at normal temp. but fans will not stop when ignition is on.
any ideas ?

Coolant temp sensor dead, wiring disconnected, relay stuck closed.

could it be number 14 ? thats the temp sensor. this is located at the side of my fuel filter housing. were the main pipe runs into the radiator

dealer price is only £29 for that sensor . so i can live with that

I have taken it from the junk yard for the 2 quids
But it doesn't solve my problem

change the relay ?
it can only be sensor. relay .

My problem is that the cooler fans don't start. They turn on only when the AC is on.
If i take out temperature sensor, they start. So i just simply turn the AC on when i see temperature raising up

do u often see your diesel engine temperature raising up to 100 oC? I dont, so the problem isnt as big, as it can see

no my temp NEVER goes higher than 92.
but even at 75 my fans are running.

Do the fans stop when you disconnect the sensor?
