Daft question but how much fuel would come out of the injector leak off pipes?
I've had a problem with air getting in the fuel system in my 1.9td and tried various things to fix it, I've also changed an injector that appeared to be leaking fuel.
Checking oil and water etc yesterday and I noticed some leaves had blown into the engine bay by the fuel pump, reached in to remove them and brushed my hand against the leak off pipe as it runs back into the fuel pump.
Now I really did just brush against it and it fell off the back of the pump !!!
Any ideas on how much is likely to have dribbled away over the last few months ?
The injector I changed was the one behind the fuel pump, so I assume it was actually fuel blowing back over the injector from the loose pipe ???
How much fuel am I losing???

I'm averaging about 400 miles from full to red light which I worked out to 33/34 MPG average, hopefully that will go up now but I do mainly town driving so probably wont make a massive difference
