I have an idea but dont know if it will work! I buy new AFM from Peugeot and carefully unwrap it and try it out on my car........If it works then great if not then if I put it back nice and neatly back into its original packaging and return it and say I found out it was something else so not tried or fitted the AFM. Reason for this is they are nearly £100 (So I have been told?) So dont really want to part with £100 if it does not cure the problem.......Think my plan will work or will the parts people examine the AFM to see if it has been used and may not return my money?!
Where are you located mastif?
if your localish to manchester you couid try the maf off my car on yours and see if its that,
ive just come back from a scrap yard icouid of got you one for £10 ish
Forgot to say....... My car runs exactly the same with the MAF plugged in and unplugged, surely it should change engine note? Could a faulty MAF result in giving no boost till 3,000rpm+ ?
