Fuel filter change

After running my car for 20000 miles I finally changed the fuel filter…I was put off by horror stories of broken pipes and broken filter holders. Well it all went well…I used a socket to rotate the top after removing the pipes and the filter was as good as new!! Nothing found in the fuel…so I drained the fuel out with a pipe (drain tap did not work) reassembled it all...10 mins all done.My car is a 110 HDi with 72000 on the clock.
