A little bit more info on the car would be a help. You can put it in your sig to prevent having to do it all the time.
And yes, while easy start has its place, its very hard on an engine.
Welcome to the club, best i've found on the net.

welcome in mate, I'd be looking at glow plugs first.
I'm assuming it's a D9 (Mk2 facelift) so I'm not sure if you have a fuel primer? could be air in the fuel system, if you get her going then switch off does it start again easily? could be fuel running back into the tank. I've lived with a small air leak in the fuel lines for 12 months, if left over night 2 cycles through the plugs from cold and it primes itself a few days standing and I use the primer, but mines a D8 and not sure if a D9 has a priming ball ?

My 110 has no priming bulb, not seen one that does. As I said, it all depends what engine its got, they are very different. Also its difficult to get air in the system as its self bleeding, so as its been running one would tend to think of another problem. For example, when changing the fuel filter, there is no bleeding or filling of bowls to be done. The electric fuel pump does it.
In these mild temps an HDI will start from cold with no glow pugs.
We could do with some more information really, such as how well does it crank under the starter motor? Any error codes or warning lights on when it does start? My first thoughts would be to matters electrical or electronic. Sensors etc.
