Hi, I have a 99 406 2.0 Hdi, will the 1260 galletto work with this model?

All Bosch-equipped HDi's have the EDC15 ecu, which Galletto 1260 will definetly 'talk to'. (It may well work with the later Siemens-equipped HDi 90's too, but I've never tried).
I trust you realise it can only view / upload / download engine ecu files? (It can't read fault codes ot interogate any other systems).

Thanks for that Dogslife, I have a .bin file which I would like to upload to my ecu. I have managed to extract some info from the file such as HW and SW numbers and file size, I just need to get it into the ecu itself. If this file doesn't give me the result I'm after then I'll have to go to the pro shop and have it remapped. I believe my ecu is Bosch I'll pull the ecu tomorrow and see if there is any ID written on it.
