another oil question ,

will this be ok in my Hdi engine ?

ive had 3 x 4 litres of it given me (freebie) was just wondering if its safe in the Hdi lumps ,
if not iwill fling them on ebay,

It'll be fine, just abit thick when cold. ideally you want 10w30 part syntetic.

im thinking of getting another can of castrol 5w 30 and mixing it 50-50 with the stuff ive got already,
itl save wasting it,
dont know if thats wise tho :lol:

10w40 semi synthetic is the norm, the alternative is 5w40 fully synthetic.

iput that oil in today,
gave it a flush first and drained out the 3yr old oil, :supafrisk:

Wow what a difernce, :mrgreen:
Turbo as gone quiet too, 8)

Yup just over 3yrs since it was changed going off the paperwork,
Lukily its always been a low mileage use car so mostprobs why its lasted so long,

im going to keep on top of it now tho me thinks, :mrgreen:
