fan never worked-does now

HI I posted a while back about my fan never working, it caused a problem one day whilst sat in traffic jam and the dashboard started beeping, otheriwse i may never have known, anyway in the end i tried removing and changing temp sensors ans relays and switches and it was still the same, ended up getting a small section of stainless welding in my own temp switch and wiring directly from the battery, obviously its fused so it wont burn out but it works a treat, fan kicks in when water/coolant gets to around 90 and turns off when below 85. I just wondered if anyone else has had any kind of issues with this?

Or maybe i just wanted to show off that i fixed it??!!

The small section i put in the hose is the shiniest piece of the engine at the minute.....lol

did you check those 50 amp fuses goes to fan wiring loom ?
