where to locate engine and water temperature sensors?

hi chaps, both gauges stoped so before i rip dash appart was wondering where to locate those sensors on engine 2.2 hdi? thanks

I think they're (it's?) on the housing above the clutch now.

What was the other gauge? Oil Temperature? Did they both pack in at the same time?

yes the other is engine temperature , both stopped working within 1 week

That's rather odd

According to the schematics the oil pressure sensor also does the oil temp - it's above the oil filter, are there 3 wires?

turns out to be both faulty gauges on instrument cluster, replaced and works now fine, thanks all for input
