Hi all, has anyone done a how to for the bottom engine mount with pics?

The damn thing lifts the bonnet when I switch on and off and it's giving a big clunk shifting up and down the box.

I have access to tools and a pit and given clear instruction I'm ok with a spanner, just need someone to tell me the what and the where.

Already read Jaspers guide but need a pic or you might as well be talking chinese....forgive my ignorance

I sawed the old one out with a junior hacksaw, then sandpapered the inside of the bracket, greased it up and banged the new mount in with an hammer.
It took ages but it went in and still there now.

The best way is to remove the drive shaft then the bracket and remove / refit with a press, or get a garage to do that for you.

The clear instructions are there in my guide, it will be fairly obvious when you look at what you have to do.

I give this type of info from memory, I don't go round photographing every job I do or I would need an awful lot of computer space.

Have a read of marco's experience.
