Hi there was wondering if anyone could help me. I've got a Citroën c2 vts with a d8 v6 engine in it. Had to use my old bmc cda induction kit but its meant for my smaller engine and is a bit restrictive, I was wondering from your experience what is the best piece of kit to use (granted I don't have masses of room left in the bay). I also have a 2 and a quarter inch stainless system on the car at the mo and I'm going to put a 2 and half inch one on soon, is that what you guys also go for. Any ideas welcome.
Many thanks
Chris

I go to PowerFlow and say "I want you to design a stainless steel exhaust for my car please"
A Citroen C2 (weighing 1,083 KG) with a V6 engine, developing 194 HP? That thing must go like a stabbed rat!
Suggestion - if you want some more room in the engine bay, why not look at relocating the battery to the boot? Yes, means a lot of wiring faff, but it should give you a bit more room up-front.

Cheers guys, got a powerflow on at the mo and the place is local just wanted to know what diameter pipe I should be using. It does go well

had the cam timing tweaked a little too and its still not running the most aggressive map that it can be ao more power to come with exhaust and induction sorting

Only got a few build pics and yeah the wiring really was a kick in the nuts, I'm not skilled enough to do a conversion so enlisted the help of the northern wizard who is gary stone. Still after a decent induction kit thinking its going to have to be an open filter on a load of silicone hosing, any ideas for an option? It's amazing to drive although it has had its teething problems such as 2 cv joints and a clutch slave cylinder in a week and a half lol but I've sorted it now fingers crossed. Any major problems I need to look out for on this motor at all? Its done 72k and when stripped down had no wear on the bore and crank and con rods etc and water pump and cam belt been done whilst was all in bits

think you have done the best you can with the filter only things i can think off are a large cone filter on end of the pipe or run a pipe into the wheel arch and fit a filter there.

if you move the battery to the boot you will have a bit more space

Also, a bit off topic but can anyone recommend brake pads for the brembos? I'm getting them delivered this week so it will stop a lot better on my larger disks.

It's generally recommended to cough up for brembo pads from the dealers, as the callipers have issues with evil sqealing which is made worse with non-oem pads
Personally I'd recommend selling the Brembos and fitting the 406s standard jobbies unless you're spending a lot of time on the track

Good grief
Moving the battery to the boot sounds like a good idea, and it would also improve the weight distribution. Do you find it nose heavy with that huge engine at the front?
For my Clio I find the Ferrodo DS2500 is a good fast road and entry level track pad. No squealing, good fade resistance and improved stopping power over OE. If you start to go more aggressive you usually get horrible dust and squealing as a trade-off. A larger calliper won't always yield better stopping power as your master cylinder can become the bottleneck. A smaller calliper may also allow you to use smaller wheels, and therefor reduce the all important unsprung weight!

Cheers for the input guys, well I've got gti6 disks with standard c2 calipers on with adapters to fit but it just doesn't have enough surface area across the pad to grip the disk so the brembos are in order I think. I do notice its more nose heavy but its still great in the dry as its a nice handling car and on coilovers too which I'm constantly adjusting to get right! The wet its a menace though, you so much as tickle the throttle and its spins o clock. Has anyone else had one of these mapped? It's running an ok map at the mo but not the most aggressive it could be but don't want what tiny fuel economy I have to go out the window
