Anit-Pollution Fault

Hi,

My car has started with the above fault appearing all the time.

I don't appear to have lost any power though :?

I took the car to an independent garage this morning and had the fault codes read. However, their equipment (Snap-On) said 6 of the codes were undocumented and the other related to Cyclinder 1.

The codes are below, I have had a look on viewtopic.php?f=10&t=15689&p=152279&hilit=P0235#p152279 and suggestions are at the side.

All begin with P

0571 Brake Switch Malfunction
1537 Intake Manifold Runner stuck open
0235 Turbocharger Boost Senser A Circuit malfunction
1519 Intake Manifold Runner stuck closed
0101 Mass or Volume Airflow circuit range or performance problem
0340 Camshaft position sensor
0221 Throttle/petal position

None of these suggest a in issue with cylinder 1.

Can anyone suggest what may be the most likely cause for my anti-pollution fault?

My car is a 406 2.0 HDI 110bhp.
VIN: VF38BTHZF81477020

Many Thanks

Anti-Pollution Fault is a bit misleading - it's pug-speak for any engine ecu error....

Nothing obvious springs to mind from the list of codes.

It usually pays to clear them, see which if any return, then investigate a (hopefully) shorter list.

If you can get it diagnosed with a PP2000, (dealer diagnostic, or 'clone' thereof which some of us have), you generally get more specific / useful diagnostic info, including suggestions on common causes.

Whereabouts are you, (in case you're near anyone with the kit)?

Thank you dogslife, how do I go about clearing them?

I'm from Chesterfield.

The same kit that read the fault codes should be able to clear them. (It's possible some or all relate to previously resolved problem and are therefore misleading - work on those that return).

IIRC one of the guys on the coupe forum has a PP2000 system & lives near you, try http://www.peugeot406coupe.com/
