Hi pepz im new to here so go steady i have just bought my second 406 sri 2.0 8v tub loved my first one so thought why not get another but with this one it is totally standard, it is in on Wednesday for exhaust and decat but i wanted to no how to fit a bleed valve to get a wee bit more boost my old sri had it all done before i bought it so this time going to do it my self if it aint too hard, thanks Dave

Don't know anything about these personally, but the general view is it''ll live forever if you don't tinker with it, or about 5 minutes if you do.

Hate them ! there unreliable, cause more problems than there worth, and self adjust over time as the spring weakens, cause the turbo to over work.
If you cant warrant buying a proper electronic boost controller, then get a grainger type valve.. much more reliable, and not a lot more money than a standard bleed valve.
I cant comment on how a 406 responds to a bleed valve in regards to over boost or safe levels, all i can tell you is my experience from years of tuning highly modified cars the Bleed Valves are sh*t !
Either way providing you can get to the vacumm line that comes off the actuator, there very simple to fit
