Coolant/anti freeze

What kind should I use? The old manual I have keeps going on about Procor or something like that. I've got some GM Red left over from my vectra, could I use that?

Cheers for that! Is there any way I can find out whats already in it though? Don't want to mix it up.

A simple solution would be to drain it, flush it and refill with the correct mix. Then you would start winter knowing that you are ok for antifreeze.

I'll second this. A couple of years ago my brother's wife tried starting the car during the snowy weather; engine started ok but no heat in the car & the temp needle climbing.
Turned out the "coolant" was frozen solid & all the fins had sheared off the water pump impeller! It's a miracle it didn't take out the cam belt!
