How much power can u get out of a 2.2 hdi?

Any ideas how much power can be obtained from the 2.2 hdi?

Can be remapped to about 180 bhp, any more seems, (admittedly on a sample of two), to hasten turbo demise.

on the bi-turbo in mine its alleged 210bhp is easily achievable.

There was a 306 Dimma for sale earlier in the year and that had a 2.2hdi engine fitted to it
It ran a BMW 530d turbo and HP pump, with hybrid BMW/MB injectors, and was reputed to be producing 230bhp

That sounds wicked dont really want the expense of all the extras to get the extra few horses. Mine has covered 120k and would be happy with a remap to start off with. recently purchased a galletto 1260 from ebay but didnt come with the relevant software for my ecu. dont know where to start now.

Bit more research says it also sported a front mounted Intercooler and had 235bhp and 400 torque
