Hi I am a new member. I have just bought a 03 2.2 hdi and would like to know the engine id , the log book has the engine number as DZ1740... so is it DZ17 as there are
D9's and D10's ?

If you mean the engine type, you have a DW12TED4, also known as 4HX, (these 3 characters will be found in the VIN, positions 6 -
