hdi cat or not?

iam breaking a hdi 90 and someone wants the cat of it but iam not sure if its got one so how can you tell?
most cars have a lambda hole in the exhaust but this dosnt or is that just petrols and are diesels diffrent?
dont want to rip anyone off and they comeing a fair distance so dont want to waste there time either.
ive got the pipe off as well but i dont think its the orginal.

Usually a diesel doesn't have a lambda sensor but some do (not the 406).

I don't think Siemens has a cat, just a regular silencer.

as its a 51 plate it should have come out the factorey with one.what do you mean by siemens its got a bosch pump on it.

If it's a Bosch pump then it's not Siemens and has a cat. If it was a Siemens then it wouldn't have a cat (according to Service Box...)

ah right i thought all new cars had to have cats
