hi all ,
ive just Bought a peugeot partner, diesel mpv
the gear selector is very stiff,
its only done 31 k miles very low,
does anyknow if they are normaly to be like this,?
its on a 09 reg ,

Pop the ball joints off the gearbox, give 'em a clean and some grease.

While the joints are off, give the gearknob a wiggle (should be pretty loose) and push/pull/lift/whatever the gear selector on the gearbox. On the 406 at least, the selector should click into position sweetly and without too much effort

ive had it in at the Main agents, they carnt find no fault with it
the gear change is stiff tho
fecking horrible to drive,
