Ah, that do sound like air in the system then. Does it pump up with the bulb or is that why you're replacing it?

Well the bulb never stays hard and don't seem to get much pressure in it and can see air bubbles in the fuel line witch would explain the starting issue but would that cause it to chuck loads of smoke web it's started and July wen drivin ?

My 2.1 did exactly the same thing and was due to air in the fuel lines. I never cured it

Well that's the next job anyway cambelt water pump etc it ticks over dead on 800 buy it still solve the serge or loss of power for split second wen running are there any other
Common fault on the pumps or injectors that could cause this I'll change the prime bulb in the
Morning anyway my main concern is the smoke wen it finally starts once started don't get no smoke at all plus to get it to stay running
I have to give it a load of throttle and it sounds like its
Miss firing them clears

another thing you couid try, this might sound daft,
face the front end of the car so its down hill , over night
if it starts then nextday with no problem itl more than likely Mean the fuel couid be running back to the tank , if you know what imean,

That ent a bad idea everything worth a try bonus if it is that and the julting of power is air in pipe I only paid 290 for the car just scrapped my old one got 200 for that but I stripped a shed load of parts of it so it only owes me 90 so can't really complain

Change bulb still no different but I did notice alot of air in the pipe from the top of fuel filter housing so think a new seal is needed
