Peugeot Servicebox?

Hi all.
I am looking for a bracket that holds a cooling pipe away from the rad on my Peugoet 406 HDi (90)
If you are looking in the engine bay its on the R/H side and I think it is a air con pipe that comes off the compressor and runs along the front of the rad and then dissapears into the R/H wing area.
Mine has broken and punctured the rad.
I have look on the tintweb and tried to register but it looks like you have to be a business to use it even though on the web it says you can register normally??
Any help would be appreiciated.

You should be able to register.
It's really useful.

Here's the diagram for the cooling system

And this is the one for the air con drier:

Can you see the offending part?

I'm not exactly sure what we're talking about here, from the description it could be the cooling pipe for the power steering pump too :?

As the man says, just make your details up (but you'll need a real email address). Alternatively post a picture.

Hi Steve_earwig
Please see pictire of the bracket I am looking for?

It is a metal bracket and has a plastic clip that holds the pipe away from the rad... As you can see on mine though it didnt work..lol

It's a bit hard to tell without actually looking at it but I'm pretty sure that's a power steering hose.On the power steering diagrams there's a change in Sept. 2000 and I've found a post of you saying yours is on an X, which I think makes it a 2000. Also, the diagrams show loads of clips but the only bracket that looks like that is on the later diagram marked "18" but with no associated part number

Anyone else care to take a look?

Also, I don't think that's your radiator it's knobbled :(

Does the condenser bolt onto the front of the radiator and share the same water supply then?

Argh! Damn my eyes - it's actually 16 - 4018 L3. I've still no idea if it's the right thing though (can't find any actual pictures but it's about 3€)

Did it leak coolant then? The condenser is behind the rad, which is where I thought that picture was showing :?

Btw can you post a picture of what actually held the pipe? Most of them seem to look like a little rubber cotton reel with a clip round it, bolted onto the car somewhere - if that's what broke all you need is the clip.

Hi Steve
Yeah your right its just a plastic clip but I think ill replace the bracket as long as its not mega bucks.. See pic below

Ive nver been so happy that its the radiator thats damaged and not the condensor... I know it sound silly but the haynes manual said not to touch it if it was the condensor... Pheww
Thanks for all your help on this one!!
