Backbox prices

How much do places like kwikfit etc charge for an exhaust backbox / rear silencer on a 1999 2.0 HDi saloon, i need to get hold of one, fitting one myself is no problem but i'd rather not wait for delivery, I would hope they are pretty cheap considering they dont actually do a fat lot on a hdi

Kwik fit is expensive, they also come up with a bit of tale too to convince you to buy a complete system,
(*kwik fit centres are not all the same,but this is the experience ive had with them in the past,*)

If your fitting one yourself, pop in a Motorists shop, they might not have them in stock but some shops normaly get them in within a hour or so if you order one,

A good motor factors or eBay and you'll pay in the region of £40 - £50.

More likely in the £70 - £80 region plus fitting.

cool, i've seen one on eurocarparts for 48 so i'll probably just get that and fit it up myself tomorrow

try a site called carparts4less free delivery and realy cheap,ive used them a lot and think there great.
