back working on my engine again and still running rough, every possible sensor + wiring loom has been changed and still running same.
idles like its hunting, can drive the car but when it hits 3k+ revs it bogs and back fires big, if i drive it slowly its fine.
left the engine to idle after a little drive and took the breather pipe off the air inlet to turbo (with black one way valve?) off and smoke started billowing out, from browsing google it seems i have alot of crankcase pressure thus maybe being the rings which will cause it to run lumpy? before i fitted the breather system on the engine i jet washed all the pipes and let it dry out until bone dry so the system is not blocked. I hear its possible to build a better breather system for it or maybe change the black one way valve for a better one maybe? or im i looking at a new block? im tempted to get it leak down tested to see if the rings are gone but would rather try building a better breather system for it first.
