Siemens HDI remap

Post by RobTurbo »

Does anyone on here have any info on remapping the siemens hdi? I have the edc15 just about mastered, now I'm working on the siemens, it's quite a bit different to the edc15 and nobody seems to want to help with it, I have a couple of bits that I think I've found but need to make some maps that will show me if I have them right.

I either need someone that knows the ecu and is willing to help, or someone that's had a professional remap that will let me read their ecu to help locate the "good bits" in the ecu. I'd be more than happy to do remaps for forum members.

Theres a few people from this forum who know a thing or two about remapping on http://www.ecuedit.com/

I'm sure they'd be able to help you with the info you need

Doesn't seem to be a lot of info on there, especially for anything other than EDC15, which is a doddle, everything you could need to know about that can be found quite easily.

Rob, I made some casual enquiries and didn't get anywhere.
Do the 407's have our Siemens system?

Keep up the quest!

It looks like the 407 2.0 8v HDi uses the same SID801 as the 406, the 16v ones use SID803, which there is quite a bit of info about but not a lot of it transfers over to 801, it seems that as least some of the factors and offsets are the same.

I still haven't had chance to make test maps to find out if I have the bits I think I have, I'm about 99% sure I have the rail pressure map and limiter.

The forum posted above is very good. It's onlt some months old so there is not much info, but the people who run it are very knowledgeable. Post your questions and you'll get your answers if you are not there just to learn, but to share.

Only that either nobody knows anything about this ecu or nobody wants to help, I've managed to get what feels like a decent remap, no clouds of smoke, I'll leave it at that until I get swapped to bosch, I was going to do the swap last weekend but I've been too busy with other things so it's on the back burner for the time being.
