Yes your bottom ball joint can cause vibrations through breaking
So can the lower arm bushings, the rear ones ware quite quickly.

How old is the car / millage & have the above components ever been changed ?

Some brake disc's & pads combos require very specific bedding in procedure
Failing to do this can cause the surface of the disc / pad to become less than perfect
which can cause the vibration a certain speeds.

What brand of disc & pad did you buy?

I had it for a few days, then one morning came out to find one of the front coil springs in two pieces.

New original oem ball joint, disc, tie rods, lower arm, pad, even caliper and the rubber that supplied brake fluid to the caliper (in fact i change disc 3 times which initially it will start without vibrations on breaking bit after a week it will start vibrating on breaking) .. All these i changed on both side, change the back dics and drum on both side.. Still the vibration continues on breaking around 70kmph, and it vibrates on the steering only and on front left side.. But any speed above 90kmph the breaking does not vibrates bit as it reaches 70km it will starts vibrating.. Am tired after all spending.. In fact i got a complete left hand side suspension which includes shocks, ball joint, dics, caliper, rotor, hub from someone then i tried still no changes.. Omg..
What do you mean by bedding procedure and how?

He means the suspension spring, they have a habit of breaking (all cars, not just 406's)

I think you've changed pretty much everything! I'm still not sure how you know it's the left-hand side though, the best I could ever do is say it's the front or back, probably.

I changed the whole left leg and replaced it with a different one.. No changes.. So i later return mine back since no positive difference

Am tired of my car.. 😭, anyway can absence of wheel balancing cause vibration under breaking about 70kmph?
Any ideas on that

Yes, but didn't you already swap the wheels about?

Since you have replaced pretty much everything, I would like to focus on the tire. What tire make, model, and size do you use? How much air pressure is in all tires?

It seems pretty normal... the reason I ask about tires is because I'm thinking that probably overly soft sidewall makes the tire unstable during braking. Or over inflated tires makes it bouncing around during braking because of reduced contact patch.

You didn't say if you replaced the rear lower arm bushing when you did the lower arm?
These wear out quite quickly, the strut top mounting rubber ages & wears over time,
this two would allow movement under breaking.

Also did you check / replace the inner tie rod joints (that go into the steering rack)
these were shot on my wifes 206 a few years back allowing movement through the steering.

On the BMW e60/61's a common problem is the slider pins & the bores for them in the calipers wearing,
You hone them out with a special tool & fit oversize slider pins.
Have you checked the runout on the hub mating surface & the runout on the disc face with a D.T.I ?

Your overlooking something somewhere that's worn allowing slight movement under breaking.

Does it get worse the faster you go ?
