Crankshaft pulley replacement

A Few weeks ago the car started to make a very strange clicky noise from the engine region, it turned out to be the crankshaft pulley, though i thought they got noisy gradually instead of suddenly.
Nonetheless i made this video on replacing it if it helps anyone:

Any mistakes or suggestions on better ways to have done this let me know, i didnt put the bolt back in with a torque wrench because i want to take it off within a few months, is that ok?


I didnt replace any of the aux tensioner pulleys but they seem to be doing ok with the new crankshaft pulley and new belt.
But the crankshaft oil seal is weeping a bit (not enough to notice any difference in oil level) and id like to get the timing belt done soon, how do you remove this oil seal, and are they a pug dealer only item?

I wouldn't have fitted thread lock if are intending removing the bolt later.

I would have mentioned the belt routing diagram before removing the belt.

I would use a genuine oil seal which is removed by removing the lower pulley after the timing belt has been removed and by levering it out with a screwdriver or a pair of circlip pliers hooking one part under the inner part of the seal.

Fit it back in by smearing a little oil on the oil seal inner lip and by pushing the seal into it's slot and tap it home using a large socket....sometimes they can be pushed home with your fingers.
