hi

i have a loud knock when lifting off the gas with my foot on the clutch, i have a duel mass fly but i don't think it's that and its not a rattle

i am thinking engine mount as when you pull the engine back and forth you can hear it knocking

just wanting sum other ideas as to what it could be

i will be investigating this tomorrow 21/12/12

Yep, it'll be the bottom mount I'm afraid, you'll need to do something about it before it breaks the flexible section on your exhaust.

it was the lower engine mount but it had not failed, the bolt had fallen out and the exhaust had snapped and then the back box dropped off so now looking at £150 to fix
