Hi guys I have a pug 406 hdi executive estate, while driving this morning there was a burning smell and a big clonking noise so I stopped for a look, the drive/alternator belt had come off with this pulley (hope the picture worked ) can anyone give me any idea what the pulley is and if its a difficult job to fix
It's more or less the same size diameter as the lucozade bottle bottom I put in as a size comparison, hope that helps
Thanks in advance Dave

Looks like the tensioner or idler pully, have a look down the side of the engine and it will be fairly obvious where it came from.
