I am considering a 2.2 HDI in need of exhaust manifold gasket replacement.

Is it easy enough for me to replace it myself?

Its seems the part can be had for less than a fiver!

You can feel and see the exhaust gas coming out one of the ports..

A couple of us have replied to this on your original post - short version, we think you need to satisfy yourself it really is the gasket.
