How does the fuel filter top come off?

Hi folks,got a fuel filter change to do on my 110 HDI siemens filter,how does the top come off please? Don't want to force anything and break it.

Hi,
you shouid see a hex slot on top of it , get a spanner on it and turn,
unplug pipes first,

once top is off you shouid see ametal ring,make sure you dont loose it,.
also have alook in the filter housing for small brass filings, if so remove full housing and clear it out before
