WHERE TO LOOK ?

HI THERE EVERYONE HOPE YOU ALL HAD A GOOD XMAS AND A GOOD START TO THE YEAR.
now down to business.
i have two 406`s one a 90 and the other is a 110. the 110 broke down over xmas, and the rac man said the HDI pump did`nt supply enough pressure to open the injectors. so i paid to have one put on. £487. thank you very much. then, only after they did the work, they informed me it is a fault in the wireing as they said ( the ECU cannot talk to the engine ) any ideas on where to look please ? i did wish you a merry xmas !
