Hi guys ,have just had a major service done on my 2002 ( 52 plate ) 406 90hdi...the reason is ( 1) it needed doing and (2) the car dosnt feel as sharp to drive as she used to...I have just got her back from the garage and she dosnt feel any different i also had the thermostat housing done as it was leaking...anymore ideas car has only done 71500 miles......

3 things to try.

1) unplug the MAF and go for a drive - you will get a fault message pop up but it will go when you plug it back in.
2) Tighten the throttle cable by pulling the spring clip off, take up the slack - not too much - and replace the clip.
3) Maybe the throttle itself - look up TPS cleaning on the forum.
