Today my dipstick has literally just disintegrated Not even sure how that happened...
I've seen a nice blue one on eBay, supposedly for a HDi but I want it to match my blue paint work

Is there any difference in the length of your boys diesel dipsticks to mine? Does anyone know?

They're all different part no.s.......

2.0l 16V 135 Engine oil gauge 1174 40 (Black)
2.0l 16V 138 and 2.0i (HPI?) 1174 E2 (Yellow)
2.2i 1174 E3, (no colour)
All 2.0 HDi's 1174 61 (no colour)
2.2 HDi 1174 C4 (no colour) length 530

Clear?

There'll be differences in length, diameter, where the seals are, how flexible they are and whether the end is designed to drop off and get jammed in the tube or not.

1174 E2 - There's a few on the bay between a tenner and 14 quid (plus postage), Pug want 10 pounds and 40 pence.

Ewww, hope you gave it a good scrub before you shoved it in

I rather hope she got the bits of the old one out.

New one is slightly cracked but will bloody do til I CBA to properly replace it
