Hi guys
Has anyone got any ideas how to get my key out of the ignition (obviously I know to turn it)...
Went to turn car off but the key is stuck fast and had to stall it to turn engine off. Key is stuck fast and won't turn any way now? Also, if I source another barrel and key, will I need the bsi/ecu to match or can I just replace barrel and key and just use one key to start car and other for Central locking??

Re: KEY STUCK IN IGNITION
get some wd40 and see if you can blast alittle in with the Straw.
then wiggle the key gently.
ive had this with one of my old 306's. there's a pin in the barrel- that drops down and jams the key.
other than that try taking the plastic cowling off and gently tap the barrel perhaps with the handle of a screwdriver
and see if it free's up.
you wont need bsi, just key and barrel, just swap the imob chips over'
you can even take new/secoundhand barrel into local locksmiths, and they will sort it so your original key works in replacement barrel,
