diesel partical filter 406

hi ive a 03 406 90bhp,ive been having problembs with the anti pollution systm which engages the engine management this is happening est every 200 miles or so then switches off again after a while ..
this is a 2 part zust system so i presume the dpf is in with the cat??
can somone tell me how to check the cleaner fluid level and its location??
ive also just bought a fuel additive cleaner, might this solve the problem??
any other suggestions ...thanks mel

The 90 HP model does NOT have a DPF.

You should have a proper diagnostic check done using PP2000, if you post you location there may be a forum member in your area with PP2000.

I agree with Jasper, definitely no DPF. PP2000 will more accurately find the fault as the ' anti-pollution fault ' could be a number of things.

The 90 is a more basic engine with less complicated vacuums etc, so this should mean there are less things to spark up the fault.

Did you keep the receipt for the additive..?

I think one of them might also tell you that before selling his 90 he found out it had a dpf...Sam?
